Our Rules

Our Rules

“Without self-discipline, success is impossible, period.”

  • Maintaining a sense of decorum is integral for a fruitful and promising boarding school experience. At MAMS Cricket Academy, we cultivate this essential ethos by instilling a robust sense of self-discipline in our students, ensuring their safety, and fostering success.
  • In adherence to our guidelines, students are not permitted to receive visitors at the school without prior approval from their Warden. If the visitor is not a registered guest, they must present an authorization letter from the student’s parents or be recognized by a member of the teaching staff.
  • Leaving the school premises is regulated by specific rules. Students are allowed to depart with their parents on predetermined dates specified in the annual calendar, provided written notification is given to the child’s Warden. Visits to local guardians must adhere to designated guidelines and require written permission from the parents for the concerned Warden.
  • Parents or local guardians are granted the privilege to take the child out once or twice a month, exclusively on specific Sundays or school holidays, subject to the discretion of the Principal. During the school year, students may be permitted to attend the weddings of blood brothers or sisters, provided advanced notice and clear travel instructions are provided. Cousins, even from the same family, do not qualify for such exceptions. On such occasions, the child is allowed a maximum of two nights at home, including travel time.
  • Borrowing money from the local guardian without the knowledge of the Warden is strictly prohibited. Visits to the student’s home due to bereavement or serious illness in the family are subject to the discretion of the Principal.
  • Furthermore, it is emphasised that parents and local guardians should abstain from roaming around the residences on their own unless explicit permission has been granted by the Warden. This structured approach to visitation and leave is designed to maintain a disciplined and secure environment for our students at all times.
