Digital Resource Center (DRC)

“The biggest part of our digital transformation is changing the way we think!”
– Simeon Preston

Computer Education forms a regular feature of the timetable from class III onwards. In classes XI & XII, Computer Science has been introduced as an elective subject. The students are introduced to the latest technologies in computers under the guidance of qualified teachers.

The Digital Resource Centre at MAMS is equipped with modern, up-to-date computing facilities. Information technology-based learning, multimedia experience, e-resources and hi-speed internet connectivity are among the useful tools to develop students’ knowledge and perspectives. The computers offer networking and are fitted with the latest processors that are updated from time to time.

The resource centre is equipped with adequate laptops in the Senior Wing and desktops in the Junior Wing. The computer labs are well equipped with a sufficient number of computers to the ratio of 2:1. A local area network is catering to the needs of students as well as faculty members. The whole school has now been wired with an Internet facility so that all members of the school can access the web for research and effective communication. The IT manager keeps a close vigil on the content being browsed to prevent any issues of cyberbullying, phishing, accessing unauthorised content and so on.
