The students from Global solitaire school attended the bio diversity conservation program session with Ms. Riddhima and Ms. Swara from the Nature Science initiative. In the first session, the students got an introduction to bird watching, recognizing, and observing the birds and the bird calls. They were able to spot 10 different species of birds. For many of them, it was a first-hand #experience to watch birds with the help of binoculars.
The second session was about plastic toxicity and its hazardous repercussions on humanity in general. Through games and a PowerPoint presentation, the students were informed, how the magnitude of plastic waste is impacting the environment in general and the worst affected living organisms were animals.
