Promotion shall be granted to the student on the basis of his/her performance in all examinations/tests held during the entire academic session. To be declared pass in an academic session, the student should obtain at least 40% marks in each subject and a total aggregate of 40% marks in classes VI to VIII.
In class IX the minimum requirement for promotion to Class X is a total aggregate of 40%. In class XI the minimum requirements for promotions into Class XII is a total aggregate of above 40%, as per the rules which govern the class XII (CBSE) Board Examination.
No rank shall be awarded to any student who misses any examination/test due to any reason. There is no provision for re-test/supplementary examination for students who fail to clear their tests/examinations in any academic session.
Absenteeism is not tolerated during any of the examinations. The student will be permitted leave only on Medical Grounds with prior permission. The parents will have to produce a medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner for the same.
