Mr. J.K. Sharma graduated from DAV College, Dehradun and then went on to do his masters in Economics. He was captain of college cricket team and represented Agra University in cricket.
Soon after completing his masters, he joined Welham Boys’ School in August, 1962 August and went on to serve the school tirelessly for 36 long years. He joined Welhamas a Math teacher and then became senior master. He was then promoted as Bursar (Head of Administrative Affairs) and he held that position for 22 years.
He retired from the school in 1998 as Vice-Prinicipal and he holds the distinction of being a honourary lifelong member of the old boys’ society. Post retirement he has been actively involved in mentoring and counseling the youth of Uttarakhand and he provides valuable inputs to the MAMS Governing body courtesy his invaluable experience in the field of education.
