“Tiger Tiger burning bright, will not let you fade out of sight, that is my promise and for you we will fight. ‘International tiger day, often called Global Tiger day, is an annual celebration to raise awareness for tiger conservation. It is said that a thriving tiger population is a sign that the ecosystem is healthy. An awareness campaign was initiated by the students of MAMS. MAMS Juniors celebrated international tigers day with great zeal. A mask making activity was organized for the students of kindergarten. The children enthusiastically came up with beautiful masks. All the students enjoyed the mask making activity very much. Grade 1-3 students participated in the activity like making stick puppets. The students were very enthusiastic about the celebration and actively participated. Besides the mask making activity, children were also engaged in classroom discussions to enlighten them about the dangers looming on our tiger population and how to protect them. During the classroom brainstorm sessions students displayed a considerable depth of knowledge about tigers and there conservation issues.”
