Under holistic development and #intercultural learning, Maa Anandmayee School, Raiwala is hosting a group of 10 students (accompanied by 2 teachers) from Solitaire Global School, Hyderabad under the AFS India AFS Intercultural Programs program. This 9-day program consists of a varying set of activities including visits to sites of mythological and historical importance, participation in sporting events, local sightseeing, and most importantly attending workshops on topics ranging from sustainable development, and environmental conservation to the application of artificial intelligence for a better life.
The program commenced on 31st March 2023, presided over by the Director of Mams, Mr Arpit Panjwani. Mr Panjwani welcomed the team by garlanding them with Rudraksha malas. He informed the team about various academic and non-academic activities undertaken for the holistic development of the students at MAMS. He also shared his vision for the upcoming projects at MAMS. The session was later followed by a customary tour of the school premises and its infrastructure.
Later in the evening, the team is scheduled to visit the ancient ‘Basanti Mata Temple’ which has spiritual and mythological importance in the area. Tomorrow, the team will interact with students in the assigned classes as per their age group followed by friendly matches between the mams’ students and the visitors. A visit to the Army cantonment is scheduled to emphasize the importance of a strong and capable army to safeguard our country’s interests.
