YI Dehradun had a recreational as well as a meaningful Sunday on May 9th, 2023 where the members visited Maa Anandmayee Memorial School to play a friendly match among its members. The members played a friendly yet enthralling limited-over match that didn’t fail to woo the local spectators too. After the nail-biting finish of the game, the members got involved in the philanthropic activity by distributing stationery items to the local village school children aged 4-18 years old. The kind gesture showed the members’ level of commitment towards social upliftment through the power of supporting the cause of education.
After distributing stationery items, they also handed food packets to the village children. The Travel for Cause ended with a scrumptious lunch at Maa Anandmayee Memorial School Mess. From YI Dehradun Mr. Jamanbir Singh Sawhney (Co-Chair), Mr. Ankit Lamba (Chair of Masoon Vertical), and Mr. Varun Gulati (Chair of Health Vertical) thanked the director of Maa Anandmayee Memorial School Mr. Arpit Panjwani and his staff for the successful hosting of the event. He also expressed his heartfelt gratitude towards his fellow members and assured them of all possible cooperation for such kind of future events.
