Students participate in the AFS Regional meet at Pinegrove School
MAMS takes great pride in fostering global awareness, upholding global goals and facilitating intercultural exchange among its students.
As part of this commitment, two students- Chinu Kumari and Yukta Badola – visited Pine Grove School in Dharampur, Himachal Pradesh from the 12th to the 14th of May for the AFS Regional Meet for North Zone member schools.
The AFS Regional Meet served as an exceptional platform for students to engage with diverse cultures, explore global perspectives, and build lifelong connections.
Yukta and Chinu, representing MAMS, actively participated in interactive sessions and talks. The event also featured guest speakers and experts who shared their valuable insights on intercultural understanding, sustainable development goals, and the importance of fostering global connections. They also displayed a beautiful artwork based on SDG 14 (Life Below Water).
Some of the distinguished guest speakers included Mr. Sanjay Kundu (DGP Himanchal Pradesh), Lt Gen Kulkarni (Director Mayo College) and Mr. Jayant Krishna, member, AFS India Board, all of whom delivered inspiring session on all-round development, leadership and on Nurturing a Global Mindset for comprehensive success.
We thank the Pinegrove School and the AFS team for organising such an invigorating and enriching conference for all the participants.
