AFS Asia Kakehashi Program 2022-23

Exciting news from the Alok Rana (Batch of 2022) who represented MAMS and India at the AFS Asia Kakehashi Program 2022-23!
39 high school students from across Asia (23 Indian 🇮🇳 students and 16 students from Bhutan 🇧🇹, Bangladesh 🇧🇩, Nepal 🇳🇵, Pakistan 🇵🇰 and Maldives 🇲🇻) have completed their exchange program in Japan 🇯🇵, where they lived, studied, and connected with peers from different countries for an academic year. The program is sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Japan to continue bridging the cultural gaps and fostering friendships across borders.
Alok had a wonderful year-long exchange wherein he learned Japanese, worked with non profits, joined Karate classes, worked in the Kendo club, played soccer, visited a lot of places (including Tokyo) and above all made a lot of friends with memories to cherish for a lifetime.
MAMS takes pride in curating such enriching experiences that are extremely crucial for the holistic development of our students.
🏅Congratulations to Alok and all the other participants for their hard work and dedication. Gratitude to AFS India for their constant support.
